Back In The Saddle Again
No, I am not referring to one of my favorite Aerosmith songs, but my return to life as Cevin Cathell, Program Director, Jackson Hole Film Festival. By the way, thank you to one of the JHFF programmers, Diane Becker, for filling in for me last Wednesday while I was in NC looking after a three-year-old niece, while her sister was being born. And of course, thanks to indieWIRE for hosting the Jackson Hole Film Festival Blog! How do parents do it? After a week of very little sleep, hardly any food, and not even having time for a shower on some days, I am ready to get back to the world of having very little sleep and hardly any food, while preparing for the 2008 Jackson Hole Film Festival in early June; for those of you who are concerned, I do intend to resume my personal hygiene routine. Enough about deprivation, on Monday, JHFF Artistic Director, Melanie Miller and I will be leaving our homes in California to drive out to beautiful Jackson, Wyoming. If all goes according to plan, I will be writing to you on Wednesdays from the offices of the Jackson Hole Film Festival about all the great films, the partnership with the United Nations and the hosting of the Global Insight Summit and last, but not least, the killer parties. Blog at you then! Posted by ccathell on May 3, 2008 at 04:58PM |
