
Julius Avery wins Jury Prize – Short Film at Festival De Cannes
I want to extend a sincere congratulations to 2006 JHFF Alum, Julius Avery! He has been awarded the Jury Prize – Short Film at Festival De Cannes for JERRYCAN.
JERRYCAN is about a kid named Nathan who risks everything after he is bullied into making a life and death decision.
Julius' short film END OF TOWN screened at the 2006 Jackson Hole Film Festival and took home the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHER Cowboy Award sponsored by Panavision. Cinematographer, Adam Arkapow lensed both END OF TOWN & JERRYCAN and has another short film in the 2008 Jackson Hole Film Festival titled I LOVE SARAH JANE.
