Action Jackson

Tihgah Tihgah Woods Ya'll!!!!

I always say that if I could come back as anybody after I die, it would either be as Tiger Woods or James Bond. Considering James Bond is technically a fictitious character, I think the odds favor me as the next Tiger Woods. But let's face it, even that is a bit of a stretch. But like my man Djay always say....everybody gotta have a dream! (Yep, yet another fictitious character....I really need to get out more. And for those of you who do not know to whom I refer, go ahead and switch to a different website now - try perezhilton.com, I hear it's the cats meow). At any rate, How much does it suck to be hungry? I mean, try doing ANYTHING when you super hungry - it's nearly impossible. The worst thing you can do when you're hungry? Go to the grocery store. No joke, you will end up buying anything and everything. It's absurd. You know what else is difficult to do when your hungry? Watch a movie. It's tough to concentrate and all you can think about is the hundreds of different types of foods you wish you had in front of you at that very moment. I am here to help all of you avoid any hunger issues during this year's film festival. So, without further or do, here are the top five places you need to go while in Jackson Hole to avoid those nasty hunger pains: (1) Billy's Burgers. The biggest, juiciest, greasiest, tastiest burgers out there. They are brilliant, they are affordable, and they are a staple of any Jackson Hole Diet. (2) E.Leaven. It has an amazing menu, everything you order is guaranteed to be delicious, and the portions will fill you up for weeks. I recommend the Chicken Salad sandwich - delicious. (3) Rendezvous Bistro. It's a little more upscale, but worth every penny. The menu is always being updated and the food never lets you down. Try the mussels and the oyster shooters when in season. (4) Bubba's. It's deliciously messy barbeque located just outside the town square in Jackson. Try the ribs, you'll thank me for it later. (5) Manhattan Sub Shop. Looking for a traditional hoagie? This is your joint. The Italian is my 'go to', but rumor has it that the Philly Cheese Steak is pretty tasty. So there you have it. So when you're waiting in line buying your festival passes and tickets and that little voice from you're stomach starts telling you that it's time to feed the beast, take my advice and try some grub from one of these fine establishments! On a side note, everyone remember to get out there and vote for you favorite short film on moviehatch.com! It's quick, it's easy, and there are some really creative and terrific films in contention. Just go to moviehatch.com or check out our website for further information (www.jacksonholefilmfestival.org, under the 'Shorts' section). Until next time....
