Julius Avery wins Jury Prize – Short Film at Festival De Cannes
I want to extend a sincere congratulations to 2006 JHFF Alum, Julius Avery! He has been awarded the Jury Prize – Short Film at Festival De Cannes for JERRYCAN.
JERRYCAN is about a kid named Nathan who risks everything after he is bullied into making a life and death decision.

JHFF Alum MONSOON Wins Big At The USC School Of Cinematic Arts Awards
Last month MONSOON by Shyam Balsé took home three awards at the USC School Of Cinematic Arts First Look 2.0 Film Festival. It came as no surprise to the programming staff of Jackson Hole considering Shyam won the 2007 Cowboy Award for Best Short Director!
