Animation Scoop Editor Jerry Beck is a writer, animation producer and author of over 15 books on animation history. He is a former studio exec with Nickelodeon Movies and Disney, was instrumental in launching Animation Magazine, co-founded Cartoon Brew and has written for The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. He is on the faculty of Woodbury University in Burbank and his latest book is The Art of Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Maurice Noble was a designer and layout man on such landmark animated films as Rabbit Seasoning, What's Opera Doc?, Duck Amuck, the Road Runner series; his name as firmly inseparable from them as the director Chuck Jones. Tod Polson, Noble's protege has now put all of Noble's notes and theories on animation design in book form.

TV animation producer Lou Scheimer has passed away at the age of 84 from complications of Parkinsons Disease. He was the man behind He-Man, The Archies, Fat Albert and Sabrina the Teenage Witch - among many many other hit shows.
