Animation Scoop Editor Jerry Beck is a writer, animation producer and author of over 15 books on animation history. He is a former studio exec with Nickelodeon Movies and Disney, was instrumental in launching Animation Magazine, co-founded Cartoon Brew and has written for The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. He is on the faculty of Woodbury University in Burbank and his latest book is The Art of Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Nickelodeon Greenlights "Bad Seeds" and "Pig Goat Banana Cricket"

Nickelodeon announced yesterday that it has ordered 26 episodes of two new animated series: C.H. Greenblatt's Bad Seeds - and Dave Cooper and J. Ryan's Pig Goat Banana Cricket. Both will be produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif.
