Animation Scoop Editor Jerry Beck is a writer, animation producer and author of over 15 books on animation history. He is a former studio exec with Nickelodeon Movies and Disney, was instrumental in launching Animation Magazine, co-founded Cartoon Brew and has written for The Hollywood Reporter and Variety. He is on the faculty of Woodbury University in Burbank and his latest book is The Art of Mr. Peabody and Sherman.

Trailer for anime spectacular "Short Peace"

I have no idea when this will get US distribution, but I can safely predict this will be one of the best animated films of the year. Short Peace is a four-part anthology film from Shochiku. This is the film last year's Katsuhiro Otomo Oscar short-listed Combustible was actually created for.
