Disney And Google Premiere Stop-Mo Short "Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story"

Move over, Lego. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Disney Interactive and Google are teaming up to launch “Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story,” an original animated short film. The film will be available exclusively on Google Play, and will be screened starting Friday at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

If it worked for Lego - can it work for Vinylmation? Just in time for Valentine's Day, Disney Interactive and Google are teaming up to launch Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story, an original animated short film. 

Based on the popular Disney Parks Vinylmation collectible franchise, Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story is a 38 minute stop-motion animated film that tells the story of Blank, an unpainted Vinylmation, on an epic adventure through an original new world to find his lost soulmate.  Beginning on February 14, Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story will also be screened for a limited time at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA and at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park in Florida.   

Now through February 23, the short can be download for free exclusively on Google Play and one can view the film online from their computer, or on their Android phone or tablet, or iPhone and iPad through the Google Play Movies & TV app. (Get the app for Android or iOS.)


Also, Google is also inviting fans to share frames from the film with friends and family as digital Valentine’s greetings at  After sharing a frame, Guests can unlock a second special film, Cranes in Love, created especially for Google users.
