If you haven't seen the Oscar nominated Ernest and Celestine, this is the week to do it. A delightful hand drawn French independent film, suitable for the whole family, opens in LA today at the Landmark Theatre in West L.A.. The director (Benjamin Renner) and the producer (Didier Brunner) of the film are going to be at the Landmark on Saturday for a Q&A (4PM show) and to introduce the 6:15PM show.

I also really love the director's Making-Of blog which I'm sure you would find interesting, Launched in late January, the blog is quite an extensive and entertaining behind-the-scenes look  at how an animated feature like this is made. Highly recommended!
