Late Night Work Club, a world-wide collective of independent animators that Scott Benson started with Charles Huettner, Eimhin McNamara and Eamonn O'Neill are about to unleash their top secret, feature length project onto the world.
LNWC's Ghost Stories will premiere at Hollywood's The Cinefamily theatre on Fairfax Avenue next Thursday, August 29th at 10pm.
It's a compilation of eleven all-new short-form spooky tales, "wrought by the devil himself", compiled by some of the coolest independant animators working today. Films include: Dave Prosser - I Will Miss You; Charles Huettner - The Jump; Sean Buckelew - The American Dream; Ciaran Duffy - Ombilda; Conor Finnegan - Asshole; Scott Benson - Last Lives; Jake Armstrong and Erin Kilkenny - Mountain Ash; Louise Bagnall - Loose Ends; Eamonn O’Neill - Post Personal; Alex Grigg - Phantom Limb; and More!
The compilation will be making the rounds at festivals after the Cinefamily debut - and will be available to view online on Vimeo, at midnight September 3rd. Says founder Scott Benson, "These cryptic tales will scare you, make you laugh, and make you run for cover. They might even teach you how to resurrect the dead right from home. So bring a notepad."
