I've been in Las Vegas this week at the 2014 Licensing Show - one of the first places the studios preview some of their forthcoming animation projects. However NOT everything that happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Here's a selection of snapshots off the exhibitor floor that offer a taste of things to come.
First stop - the Universal booth where activity to exploit the upcoming Minions movie was going at full blast.
Universal also offered a first look at the characters in Illumination's untitled Louis C.K. Pets project.
Swung by Twentieth Century Fox's booth where the emphasis was on the next Ice Age film…
...and of course, next Fall's Peanuts movie.
Dreamworks has a huge prescience on the floor - Here's a snap at the lead character in their upcoming B.O.O. Bureau Of Otherwordly Operations
And there was no delay in adding Felix The Cat to their display...
For the purists - of which I am one of - Dreamworks assures it will maintain the characters ties to his rich history.
Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry dominated the Warner Bros. display...
...and Batman is revamped once again.
