Pixar revealed that the sequel to Finding Nemo will be called Finding Dory - via an announcement on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today.
DeGeneres will rejoin cast mate Albert Brooks and director Andrew Stanton on the new film, scheduled for release November 25th, 2015.
Finding Dory will take place a year after the first film, and many supporting characters from the first film are returning. According to the Disney press release, the film is “set in part along the California coastline, the story also welcomes a host of new characters, including a few who will prove to be a very important part of Dory’s life.”
