Check out this beautiful little pantomime film, "Poulette's Chair", a special anime short to mark the 10th anniversary of Fuji Television's late-night programming block Noitamina. Hiroyasu Ishida (Fumiko's Confession) directed this new short at Studio Colorido. Yojiro Arai (animator on From Up On Poppy Hill and The Secret World Of Arrietty) designed the characters, and served as animation director.

Wow! Incredible short, not what I was expecting at all.

The ending was a little over the top, but boy, it was great. Really lovely through and through. We need more like this. :)
