Studio Ghibli co-founder, Isao Takahata (The Grave of the Fireflies) returns to directing after more than a decade with an adaptation of a classic tale of the tenth century Japanese Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya). Based on the folktale The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, the film is drawn in a classic watercolor and brush stroke technique. This brief teaser just appeared on Japanese television - the film is scheduled for release in Tokyo later this year.
