Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives") is exec producing and voicing the lead character in Hulu's latest animated series, Mother Up! The series makes its exclusive U.S. Debut November 6th. Here's the first look:

Meet Rudi Wilson (voiced by Eva Longoria), a disgraced former music exec, who must transition from the towers of Manhattan to the carpool line of suburbia, where she finds herself alone and hopelessly underequipped to manage her two kids and new life. Bringing her street smarts and urban lifestyle to the suburbs, Rudi confronts the endless challenges of parenthood with a series of misguided improvised solutions, putting her life on the line like never before. The show is executive produced by Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Mass Animation’s Yair Landau (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs) and Michael Shipley (Family Guy, American Dad).

Yes because everyone knows living in the suburbs is worse than living in Manhattan?? The cost is lower, and there's more room.

With this and The Awesomes . . . does hulu not get enough revenue to produce something better? And NOT in flash? It seems odd to me that children's cartoons (Steven Universe, Korra) have better production values than ones for adults . . .

Not sure why Flash = bad. I know of many Flash projects that became excellent. But let's not reopen that can of worms.

Well, it's nice to have a wreckless mother for a change. Usually that's the father's role in a cartoon.
