Animation Great Don Hertzfeldt's "Rejected" Online (but not for long)

I'm pretty sure that animation maverick Don Hertzfeldt doesn't put his films online as a matter of financial livelihood, because he sells DVDs of his work through his website. Now I'm a big advocate of a marketplace unhindered by draconian anti-piracy measures, but when it comes to an independent artist's work who probably ekes out a small living from his creative endeavors, you've got to draw the line somewhere. So by putting up this YouTube video of his hilarious, landmark short "Rejected," I offer up both a tribute to one of my favorite animated films of recent years as well as a shout-out to Mr. Hertzfeldt, who might want to censor YouTube user "anarchy989" for copyright violations.

A noble point, but by posting the illegal bootleg here, doesn't that also make you guilty by association? ;)
