With new films from my favorite world auteurs -- Jia Zhang-ke, Atom Egoyan, Arnaud Desplechin, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Lucrecia Martel, the Dardenne brothers -- plus two from Steven Soderbergh and Charlie Kaufman's debut, I think I'm excited as I've ever been about the Cannes lineup. And how about the omnibus film "Tokyo!," with sections from Bong Joon-ho, Michel Gondry and Leos Carax! Damn, that's got to be some good cinema in one package.
