Frameline -- San Francisco's main LGBT film event (and the oldest in the world) kicked off last night and will continue on through next weekend.
A highlight comes this Saturday morning when Jeremy and Randy Stulberg's documentary "Broken Heart Land" has its world premiere. Spotlighting the lack of HIV/AIDS awareness and LGBT rights throughout the American heartland through one teen's tragic story in Oklahoma, the film promises to be a powerful experience. And if you can't catch it at Frameline, "Broken Heart Land" will air nationwide on June 24 on World Channel's America ReFramed program and select PBS channels.
