Matt Wolf's directorial debut "Wild Combination: A Portrait of Arthur Russell" made its way to theaters (and great reviews) back in 2008, but only now is it available digitally, thanks to the fine folks over at Oscilloscope (who also just released Wolf's "Teenage"). 

The doc celebrates Russell, the pioneering avant guard queer cellist/disco producer/Allen Ginsberg muse who passed away from AIDS in 1992. You can -- and should -- check it out in all its glory here, but we have this clip from the film, in which Russell's boyfriend Tom Lee reminisces about meeting him for the first time, and how their relationship developed:
