"Transformers: Age Of Extinction" crossed the $400 million barrier this weekend with an enormous $95.8 million take, crushing the competition yet again.  The film easily outdistanced two family titles, "How To Train Your Dragon 2" and "Maleficent".  The World Cup might very well be achieving huge TV ratings all around the world but overseas moviegoers found time between penalty kicks to head to their local multiplexes.  "Maleficent" also crossed the $400 million barrier this week and now sits at $416 mil.  "The Fault In Our Stars" became a $100 million film Internationally and today will push "X-Men: Days of Future Past" past $500 million.  Those are some very impressive numbers, especially when you consider on this side of the pond we're all wondering what happened to the summer moviegoing season.  And lastly, that little Ireland/UK film, "Mrs. Brown's Boys", keeps chugging along.

Ugh, it's "roughshod," not "rough shot." The copy editing on this site is brutal.
