Some outlets are reporting that Danny Boyle ("Trainspotting" "Slumdog Millionaire") is the new director on Sony's "Jobs" biopic and some are reporting both sides are close to an agreement. Either way it's an interesting fit. Boyle has proven he's comfortable at the helm of gripping dramas like "127 Hours" and "Trainspotting", sci-fi horror outings like "28 Days Later" as well as deeply personal films such as "Slumdog" so this should be right in his wheel house.
Another interesting rumor floating around is the sudden interest from Leonardo DiCaprio (who Boyle directed in "The Beach") to play Steve Jobs. Stay tuned.
