With all due respect to a few minor limited releases, "The Grand Seduction" looks to be the most interesting indie title of the week.  The eOne film stars the great Brendan Gleeson and the only actor named Taylor who was NOT in the "Twilight" series, Taylor Kitsch.  The film is a "Local Hero"-like comedy as the residents of Tickle Cove need to convince a doctor to set up practice in their town in order to save it from financial ruin and the townspeople, led by Gleeson, set out to convince Dr. Lewis (Kitsch) to take the job.

In addition, if you missed it on VOD Magnolia releases "Filth", the bad cop dramedy with James McAvoy in theatres this Friday, IFC goes day-and-date theatrical and VOD on "Lucky Them" with Toni Collette and Thomas Haden Church and Cinedigm offers up "Night Moves", which is NOT the Bob Seger biopic but rather a thriller from director Kelly Reichardt which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning.
