The amazingly prolific filmmaker Woody Allen highlights this week's indie releases as his latest offering, "Magic in the Moonlight" debuts on Friday. The film, which stars Colin Firth and Emma Stone probably won't crossover into multiplexes the way "Blue Jasmine" did but it seems like a pleasant enough diversion.

KICK---UTV
The first major Bollywood release since the start of the World Cup, "Kick" features India's bad boy Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez.  Khan's last three films have all been box office successes with January's "Jai Ho" opening to $1.2 million, December 2012's "Dabangg 2" debuting at $1.0 million and August 2012's "Ek Tha Tiger" starting off its run with $1.1 million.  Expect more of the same this time around with the possibility of a weekend total slightly north of those, considering that we haven't had a major Bollywood release since mid June.
