Sony Pictures Classics will once again be the North American home for Pedro Almodovar with his latest project, "Volver" (Return) marking his sixth feature that will be released on this side of the Atlantic by the New Yor-based distributor. The comedy, starring Penelope Cruz and Carmen Maura, will begin shooting in July in Madrid. The company plans a June, 2006 release following a theatrical retrospective of eight of Almodovar's films.
