It's hard to imagine that President Obama appearing on Zach Galifianakis' web series Between Two Ferns will really inspire young people to sign up for health insurance. What's easy to imagine is that the newly released Funny or Die video will be a huge hit and do a lot of good for the President's image in other ways.

What do the ex and the current Mrs. Don Drapers have to say to each other? I'm not sure, but I know how to find out: join me on April 24th at the 92nd St. Y for a conversation with Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner, along with January Jones (Betty) and Jessica Pare (Megan) for a wide-open conversation about the series, the season, and everybody's favorite cheating husband. Or is he?

In a promo for 'Pitch Perfect' that seems to have been on an endless loop on my On Demand Chanel lately, Rebel Wilson gushes “We had such fun” making the movie. Just once, I would love to hear an actor say: “It was hell, we hated each other, I never want to work with those losers again.” Just once.  In the meantime, we have Zach Galifianakis’ new Oscar installment of his faux-web show, 'Between the Ferns'. Galifianakis, as the idiot host, talks to real-life nominees Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Christoph Waltz, Anne Hathaway and Amy Adams about, as he puts it  “all of their Oscar buzzness around them.”  His question to Watts – “Do you have to shrink yourself to get into the camera?” -- is only slightly more ridiculous than some actual questions I’ve heard.

The funniest scene in the political spoof The Campaign  -- and there are plenty -- has nothing to do with politics even though it takes place at a debate. The Democratic candidate played by Will Ferrell is clueless, womanizing Cam Brady, desperate to save his Congressional seat, not to mention his cheating ass. Zach Galifianakis is the Republican challenger, Marty Huggins, an innocent nitwit controlled by a super-rich Super-Pac. When Huggins demands that his Godless opponent recite the Lord’s Prayer, Brady gets some down-to-earth help.

Will Ferrell continues his hilarious promotional tour for The Campaign with this topical but non-Campaign-centered bit on Conan. “She goes by K Stew,” may be all you need to know about his weeping reaction to that high-profile breakup. While the rest of the world hand-wrings about things we can’t possibly know – like what is Rob thinking? -- Ferrell sends up the entire celeb-obsessed hysteria.

Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis and Jon Hamm Campaign Against Lame Interviews

Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis and Jon Hamm came together last night to fight a serious cultural blight: lame interview questions. How much longer should we have to endure actors swearing that they had the most fun ever making the movie, or directors who insist that every member of the cast was absolutely the first, dream choice? Please! Promoting their new film, 'The Campaign,' Ferrell and Galifianakis clearly have had enough.  Along with guest Jon Hamm, they staged an intervention and challenged Jon Stewart to stop the lazy questions. We are all grateful. (Although in real life Stewart is obviously not a major offender.)

Will Ferrell’s comedy is both incomparably goofy and totally droll about it, and both sides of his humor kicked in during his guest spot on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He was promoting his hosting spot on this week’s SNL, but also brought along the trailer for his new political comedy with Zach Galifianakis, The Campaign, coming in August.
