Now that you've watched the series finale of Big Love, take a look at the creators' and actors' grandiose explanations of what they were trying to do. I disagree with almost all of it, and not just because they toss around words like "martyr" and cliches like "the circle of life."
As I said in my review (you can read it here) Bill's end seemed fated but the epilogue was forced. I'm intrigued by what they were up to though; among other things, they were determined to make Bill, the polygamist patriarch of the family, a hero.

The series finale made me cry. I watched it like 3 hours ago and I'm still crying.
