Before Ben Affleck became Mr. Big-Time-Oscar-Winning-Director ... oh, never mind, that is so not his persona even now. Here he is in a promo for the season finale of SNL, proving he still has his comic timing. And here's Bill Hader (who will not be returning to the show next season) asking Affleck if he made up that country Iran in Argo.

Watch Ricky Gervais' Hilariously Awful Music Video, 'Equality Street'

Shot in gloriously pretentious black and white, 'Equality Street' is the official music video from David Brent -- Ricky Gervais' crazily  un-self-aware character from The Office -- and Dom Johnson, the rapper Brent manages. It's cringe-worthy good, as the rapper and the white guy in a bad suit dance down a multiethnic street and Brent sings: "Let me take you down Equality Street / You ever know the people you'll meet."

It has been a decade since Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's original version of The Office ended its brief but brilliant run. Now Gervais has brought David Brent back in The Office Revisited, a 10 minute video done for Red Nose Day, an All-Star BBC program that is part of the UK's Comic Relief fundraiser.

Who knows if these parodies might have helped Zero Dark Thirty in the Oscar race? (Could they have hurt more than the controversy about torture?) Laughing about the subject probably wasn’t in anybody's awards strategy, but these two very funny videos reveal how firmly the film has pervaded the cultural conversation.

After the success of his hilarious all-star fake trailer, Movie: The Movie, which premiered after last year’s Oscars -- and has been viewed over 20 million times on YouTube alone, more than 30 million overall -- Jimmy Kimmel has come back with a follow-up. As he says, "When you have a big success in Hollywood, there's only one reasonable thing you can do: cheapen it with a sequel.”

In  Part 2 of the 'Rejected Pitches’ Oscar special, the comedy web series gives us typical Hollywood dismissals of Les Miserables (with a perfect Tom Hooper impersonator), Life of Pi, Lincoln and Zero Dark Thirty.

“Rejected Pitches,” the on-line comedy series that plays out typical Hollywood rejections of very successful films, takes on this year’s crop of Oscar  nominees with some priceless responses to Silver Linings Playbook, Argo and Beasts of the Southern Wild: “I love Hushpuppy – she’s so sassy! Everything else can go.”

In a promo for 'Pitch Perfect' that seems to have been on an endless loop on my On Demand Chanel lately, Rebel Wilson gushes “We had such fun” making the movie. Just once, I would love to hear an actor say: “It was hell, we hated each other, I never want to work with those losers again.” Just once.  In the meantime, we have Zach Galifianakis’ new Oscar installment of his faux-web show, 'Between the Ferns'. Galifianakis, as the idiot host, talks to real-life nominees Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Christoph Waltz, Anne Hathaway and Amy Adams about, as he puts it  “all of their Oscar buzzness around them.”  His question to Watts – “Do you have to shrink yourself to get into the camera?” -- is only slightly more ridiculous than some actual questions I’ve heard.

When I asked Jamie Foxx and Kerry Washington if they had refused anything that director Quentin Tarantino asked them to do or say in Django Unchained – you can imagine that these very smart African-American actors, playing slaves, might tell their white director where to draw the line -- I got a very revealing non-answer. “We’ll keep that private,” Foxx said, then went on to describe the dynamics on set, including what he thinks about the N-word, how Leonardo DiCaprio felt saying it, what Samuel L. Jackson told Leo in rehearsal.
