Late-night comedians were all over Bin laden's death, some obvious and some clever. Jimmy Fallon as Trump taking credit is priceless. But for great satire, Stephen Colbert was the best overall. He went beyond Bin laden is dead jokes (easy to make that funny) and looked at how long it took to get him, how life has changed since the 9/11 attacks.
Here's the best of last night's Colbert Report:
It's amazing that after all this time Colbert can still use his conservative persona to undermine conservatives. Here he gives a long-delayed Bin Laden is dead party, a reminder that this didn't happen on George W. Bush's watch.
And here he looks at what President Obama was thinking while he kept the secret, laughing a little too hard at the Bin laden joke at the White House Corrrespondents dinner.
