Watch DeNiro's Funny "30 Rock" Cameo

The week's big, buzzy cameo was Ricky Gervais crossing paths with Steve Carrell on The Office, as Gervais' David Brent from the original British series met his American counterpart, Michael Scott. But another, funnier cameo snuck in under the radar: Robert DeNiro turned up on 30 Rock playing himself, in a scene funnier than anything in The Little Fockers or his recent SNL appearance.

The week's big, buzzy cameo was Ricky Gervais crossing paths with Steve Carrell on The Office, as Gervais' David Brent from the original British series met his American counterpart, Michael Scott. But another, funnier cameo snuck in under the radar: Robert DeNiro turned up on 30 Rock playing himself, in a scene funnier than anything in The Little Fockers or his recent SNL appearance.

In the episode, Alec Baldwin, as Jack Donaghy, has his latest genius programming idea: a pre-recorded telethon ready to go for any disaster, just fill in the blanks when the tragedy hits. Here's DeNiro doing his part -- and proving that all he needs is sharp writing to match his comc timing.
