Jimmy Fallon calls it 'Downton Sixbey' (in honor of his studio, 6B). I think of it as'Keeping Up With The Granthams' (hoping for the spinoff,' Lady Hedith and the Dowager Take Miami'). But whatever you call it, the 'Late Night' satire is a howling spoof of 'Downton Abbey'. Picking up on this season’s Downton plot, here the Earl of Sixbey reveals how he has lost the family fortune (it was not investing in a railroad).

Brooke Shields returns as the Cora substitute, with 'Late Nigh't writer A.D. Miles as the Dowager Countess and Fred Armisen as the unfortunate Lady Hedith. In the latest installment, Lady Whoopi (Whoopi Goldberg) and her son, Downton’s unexpected heir, Lord Questlove, arrive with a proposal bound to unsettle the family.

The second half of the episode appears on' Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' tomorrow.

And if you’ve missed the first episode, catch it here:

Stating the obvious, the present era of creativeness seems to only be centered around making parodies, spoofs, of other people's work or rehashing films or TV shows from previous years, or mining comic books. It's questionable if any truly great original work is being done anymore: just spoofs of other people's works.
