It’s a medically-induced movie dream: in tonight’s episode of the strong-as-ever House (after a rocky start this season), Cuddy becomes a patient, and under the influence of who knows what hallucinates the cast into a series of films, including eveyone’s favorite, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This behind-the-scenes interview with Hugh Laurie and producer Greg Yaitanes offers a glimpse of the perfectly-detailed set.

Fox didn’t make the episode available in advance, but Laurie looks like a pretty good Butch, one of the few actors who can temporarily sub for Paul Newman. It’s not Lisa Edelstein’s fault that Cuddy is no Robert Redford.

The episode includes other movie homages, including a musical number and this black-and-white 50’s-s sitcom.

I’ll review after I’ve seen the show (8 ET). Here’s the Fox preview.
