Like so many megastars, Keira Knightley drops into a little indie now and then, but unlike so many she has chosen well. Last Night is a slight but charming romantic drama about a married couple (Knightley and Sam Worthington) who, during one night apart, are tempted by her dashing French ex-boyfriend (Guillaume Cantet) and his sexy co-worker (Eva Mendes).

The film, which has already been playing on VOD, opens in theaters today. So does a big bad Hollywood romantic comedy about a love triangle; that would be the must-miss Something Borrowed, with Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin. But the sophisticated bauble Last Night is the one to catch.

If you missed it, here’s my full review of Last Night from the Tribeca Film Festival.

I truly enjoyed this movie. And , Keira Knightley normally annoys me, but she isn't bad in this movie. She has good chemistry with Guillaume Cantet.
