I've just seen the new romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love (for the second time) and while my review will land next week when the embargo lifts, I can tell you this: Ryan Gosling will surprise you as the would-be womanizer who helps hopelessly unhip Steve Carrell get back in the game after Julianne Moore divorces him. If you think of Gosling as Mr. Intensity from films like Blue Valentine and Half Nelson, take a look as his deadpan comic storytelling on Jimmy Fallon, where he showed up with his crazy-haired dog.
Here he is describing a misadventure in a Turkish bath.
And here he gets around to Crazy, Stupid, Love, in which his playboy character falls for Emma Stone.
