If you've ever watched an early Guy Ritchie movie thinking, "Huh? What'd they say?" Saturday Night Live has a film for you. Russell Brand joins Bill Hader and Fred Armisen in a mock British crime movie they promise is like Ritchie or Sexy Beast, but even harder to understand.
Last night's show was heavy on British jokes. In his monologue, Brand said that in Britain wearing tight pants is sign you're famous; a sketch about a medieval food taster for the king ended with line, "This has been The King's Speech. Now you can say you saw it."
But the little movie - with a nod to Tarantino's influence on the genre, in a shootout straight from Reservoir Dogs - was inspired. Here it is:
