Stephen Colbert knows the next big thing when he sees it. A horse partly-owned by Ann Romney is trying out for the Olympics, and what bettter way for Mitt to earn some blue-colllar cred than for the family horse to win that big dressage competition? Here’s The Colbert Report’s priceless take on the ultimate Romney sport – the show has declated dressage The Official Colbert Report Sport Of the Summer – with new sing-along lyrics to “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.”

The report includes the fact that the Romney horse will compete to music from Rain Man. Obviously, as Colbert said, barely keeping his face straight, “Mitt envies Rain Man’s ability to connect with people.” And to be fair and balanced, he pointed out the down side of the situation: it will be a long drive to London for the horse, strapped to the roof of the family station wagon.
