The SNL writers didn’t do Daniel Radcliffe many favors, as he smiled his way through sketches that should have been funnier (like Harry Potter can’t stay away from Hogwarts). The best was totally unexpected: Radcliffe, deadpan on Weekend Update, as Casey Anthony’s scared-for-his-life dog.

    I thought it was hilarious until -- BOOM! -- my brain suddenly substituted Caylee for the dog, and then the words became scary and offensive. I tortured myself for a while thinking about this. Casey chose the perfect defenseless, voiceless victim.
