Watch The New Oscar Trailer: The Search For Billy Crystal

The Academy has released its first promo for the reconstituted Oscar show, a spot in which Josh Duhamel and Megan Fox, with some help from Robin Williams, trek halfway across the world to find once-and-future host Billly Crystal.

If Liam Neeson had turned up to train him, as in Batman Begins, the promo (produced with Funny or Die) might have been better, but there have certainly been puffier, less self-aware spots.

    Well the NFL season will be finished by oscar time. 2012 already has me losing track of time in this digital world. So i guess the husband will let the wife control the remote this go around. William Fichtner dashes papers on table. Wow.

    Trailer is spectacular. The oscars will be another fun long marathon to watch. Hope i dont pass out during half of the show. Wife + Husband= Oscars and flipping back and fourth with sunday night football. When William Fichtner throws the papers on the table, that made trailer complete.
