The Alliance of Women Film Journalists and Vancouver Film Critics Both Hail 'Zero Dark Thirty'

Two more batches of critics group awards to report: the winners from The Alliance of Women Film Journalists and the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. And, it seems, Terminal City writers and women critics from all over agree: the best film of the year is "Zero Dark Thirty." Likewise, they both agree that its director, Kathryn Bigelow, is the Best Director of 2012. The groups were also in sync on Best Screenplay (Mark Boal, "Zero Dark Thirty" - the AWFJ also gave a Best Adapted Screenplay to Chris Terrio for "Argo"), Best Supporting Actor (Philip Seymour Hoffman, "The Master"), and Best Documentary ("Searching For Sugar Man").
