The 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' "Premake" Is a Summer Blockbuster, Guerilla-Style

Filmmaker Kevin Lee culled from 355 amateur video accounts of "Transformers'" Chicago shoot to produce this unique document.

As previewed on Indiewire earlier today (and, in fact, a little ahead of schedule), video essayist Kevin Lee has begun posting his "premake" of "Transformers: Age of Extinction" on YouTube. While the crowdsourced assemblage of footage of the movie's Chicago filming doesn't violate any copyright laws I know of, it's probably a good idea to watch it now, just in case. (The studio is only screening the movie for critics in the nation's top 25 markets, so they're not exactly eager to get it out in advance.)
