Funding Announce for Zambia
It's official now. The MCC Innovative Grants were announced today and the Zambian Film Project was given substantial support. When I told Jabbes today, he was so excited that his head was in a swirl. Later, he said that in his mind, the films were already done because with this funding, we could now be assured that all could be accomplished. The Innovative Grant was for $11,500. We've got another $7,500 from another school grant.
Suddenly, everybody and his/her brother wants to Visit Zambia for the making of the film. I try to keep everyone focused oon the fact that this is a working excursion and that our number one goal is support Jabbes in completing his film. I'm starting to have to beat them off with a stick!
