Spending the Evening Getting SAVED!

The funding announcement has the Zambian films really taking shape. I've been working like a crazy, mad dog. I've been sending press releases to support agencies and media in Zambia. Katie is contacting the U.S. press. Jeniece has the Digital Story almost ready for distribution. Robbie and M.K. are working on the Interactive DVD and the ZNBC promo package. Jeniece, Heath and Kyle are working on the career promos. While it is certainly stressful taking on all these projects, it's also very rewarding because the students are learning A LOT in this process. They're excited, committed and determined. They get to create concrete projects with hard deadlines.

So, to do something relaxing, I came home today and took a nap for a few hours. Tonight, I decided to totally chill out and watch a fun, independent film. SAVED! stars the fabulous Patrick Fugit, the popular and amusing Jena Malone and Mandy Moore, in a surprising turn Macaulay Culkin and ... my favorite new discovery ... Eva Amurri. I was so enjoying the racuous, tender and nuanced performance of Ms. Amurri. I decided to check out who she was. It turns out she's the daughter of Susan Sarandon. Obviously acting is in her blood. According to IMDB, she was travelling in Europe. I'm looking forward to seeing what else she does with her career!
