Sundance 2005 Alum Miranda July Wins Camera d'Or
Miranda July Wins Camera d'OrRoger Ebert called her film -- ME AND YOU AND EVERYONE WE KNOW -- "the best film of Sundance 2005". Most recently, the film was awarded the Camera d'Or at Cannes! On the Miranda July Blog, she posted short clips of Walking the Red Carpet Video and another of the Cannes Award Vault Video.
At Sundance 2005, July was also awarded a Special Jury Prize. You might want to check out the Me and You and Everyone We Know Website and the IFC Official Me and You Site. As it turns out, Ms. July comes from a publishing family. I had fun perusing her site.
