Trouble with Tribeca?
There may be trouble with my first trip to Tribeca. I got a call that they hadn't received my photo and couldn't process my pass. I sent it back on March 16 but, somehow, it didn't make it through the ether. Hopefully, I'll hear good news tomorrow (since the festival opens on the 25th, it would be good to get that sorted out).
This year, they had over 4100 submissions to Tribeca. They're anticpating over 240,000 attendees because of expanded screening venues. I can certainly understand how things might slip through the cracks ... they've got a whole lot to manage! We'll have to see how it goes.
