Upcoming Podcast: The Festival Circuit and Securing Distribution
By Cyndi Greening. Phoenix, Arizona USA (Cinema Minima) -- On this week's podcast (to be posted on Sunday, June 6) Independent Filmmaker Paul DeNigris will discuss production, the festival circuit, distribution and "The Making of" THE FALLS for the release of the DVD. A terrific thriller set in upstate New York, THE FALLS has screen in Dances with Films, the Phoenix Film Festival, the Longbaugh Film Festival, the Garden State Film Festival and was named as an Emerging Narrative Selection at the IFP Market.
The film's website offers a great deal of information about the digital effects created for the film including the color correction and compositing that gave the digital production its filmic look. Another great information source, the DVD includes the Director's Commentary, Deleted Scenes and a "Making of" featurette.
