Visit JoanWaters.Com

A picture named jwdog.gif
It's finally ready. I spent the last two days getting JoanWaters.Com up. It needs further refinement (more images and different slide display pages) but it's certainly better than what was there before (nothing).

There are some interesting Metal Sculptures that are up including the firepit, shield, leaf and colecanth. I personally love the javelina mask because it had to be made from natural and or found items for the World Wildlife Fund. Missing from the display are the current African Backs in metal and paint.

Speaking of paint, quite a few Paintings and Drawings are up. You'll find transfigurations, some of the forest series, dog&snake and organic geometrics.

I've created an archive for the old DrawnTogether site. The media coverage will be up shortly. And, I'll have to be diligent about updating the Current Shows and Exhibitions.

I really like the site so far Cyndi, nice, simple and to the point...Tell Joan I really like her work. I felt a kind of peace while looking at some of them, yet there is a kind of mysteriousness that makes them intriguing also, kept me looking at a few of them longer than I normally do with paintings. I like mystery in art and paintings and thats a good thing! I am curious about one thing though. The metal work...how do you know, as in the Coelacanth to do it that way? I found that one to be very interesting. Anyway, beautiful work for a beautiful soul, thanks for sharing?
