The Vatican Bans Brazilian Singer

This should get your undies all twisted... The Vatican has banned Brazilian singer Daniela Mercury from singing at their Christmas concert. Why? Because she openly admitted that she will promote the use of condoms to fight the plague of AIDS at the event. That's a no-no among Catholic circles. Forget the fact that condoms are used to prevent the spread of AIDS, it's much deeper than that. Saying that she promotes condoms means that she is also promoting promiscuity and blatant sinful acts. That's the bottom line folks. The Vatican is it's own city and they can run it the way they've been running it.

Note: Not banned for what she's wearing.

She should've done what Lauryn Hill did. She just performed and basically told the Vatican audience that priests should repent for their sins. Obviously, she won't be invited again.
Hey, but now you know who Daniela Mercury is, right?
