Ride a White Horse - Goldfrapp's Latest Vid
You gotta love viral marketing. This is the latest music video from Goldfrapp off of their latest titled Supernature. "Ride a White Horse" is the third single in the U.K. (previous singles were "Ooh La La" and "Number 1," respectively).
So while you're just getting back from those Sundance parties and film screenings, take a break and check this out. After I watched it, two words immediately came to mind - exaggeration and juxtaposition. Let me know what you think?

Looks like the world of music video as an art form has reached its apogee in the early 90's. How does Goldfrapp's new music video look any different from the 80s low budget "experimental" music videos? It is exageratedely distasteful in style an substance. I used to like her...

Wow, I have loved Goldfrapp's videos but this one is so distasteful it puts me off of the band itself. The sadest thing is this video could have been either a powerful commentary or a sensual treat. In the end it is neither, just offensive in a way that serves no one, including Allison and Will.

Goldfrapp's music has suffered so much in the path of Alison's hellbent intention of making Goldfrapp a leading electro fashion band, and this video, despite being a bit sleek, just proves that their latest electro-by-numbers drivel can't create a good memorable video to go with it.

Well Well Well... Goldfrapp has failed to make a sonic achevement that could crack the world at it's hemisphere. So I guess this video's imagery of garbage is directly proprtional to their career? I think of it more as an F off and that they could give two shits. Their music is good Period! Their choice of imagery... I'm not so sure about. But if you think it sucks get off your ass and go make a video of your own.
