I`m All High Tech and Everything and Yet...
I still can`t upload my photos from my Palm T/X to my blog b/c I have no Wi-Fi available where I am. Sucks. Hmmm, maybe I should try to ask the front desk if I need to pay for Wi-Fi. That`s no good. Wi-Fi should be free damn it!
Anyway, I`ve got handy (that`s the new word of the day in Tokyo) pictures to show on the blog once I get back to the U.S.
I had the great chance to visit Production I.G.`s studio in Kokubunji (outside metro Tokyo). I totally geeked out like a crazy-ass Otaku (on the inside, that is). And Saturday, the crew and I will visit Satelight studio which is runned by the venerable Shoji Kawamori (animator of such titles as Macross and Escaflowne). The geek meter is on!
Anyhoo, I`ll be coherent next week (hopefully). This is what we did so far...
Covered Tokyo International Anime Fair, covered Production I.G. at Kokubunji, gone to Shibuya, visited Akihabara, went to a maid cafe (YES...young Japanese girls dressed up as maids and waiting on your table - FABULOUS!!) and much more. I also have a new mobile phone charm. I now have Sgt. Keroro hanging from my Motorola RAZR V3. Pics are forthcoming.
