"Go! Go! Speed Racer!" - Wachowski Brothers Make it Official
It's been talked about for a bit and rumored to almost be hearsay. But as reported in Variety, this thing is for real. And I guess Vince Vaughn is still on board as Racer X. In any event, expect the racing scenes to be mindblowing. If its anything like that freeway scene from The Matrix: Reloaded, then wahoo! Although, Joel Silver did say something about this movie being for everyone -- all ages. So maybe a little less on blood and a lot on mechanical carnage?
