Dragon Ball Movie Update - Where are those Asian Actors?

Everything seems to be falling into place, albeit slowly. But various news outlets have posted updates on the production of Dragon Ball which now has two stars attached and a director.

Glad to see that Stephen Chow (Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle) is producer on the project. Strangely, he's not acting in the movie (as of yet). We have yet to see if they will actually cast an Asian in any of the roles that are left open. I anticipate characters such as Krillin, Chiaotzu, Tien, Yajirobe and Master Roshi to have at least an Asian actor play one of them. Apparently, James Kyson Lee (Heroes) is auditioning for the role of Yamcha.

You know, this is gonna be strange. Since Justin Chatwin (The Invisible, War of the Worlds) is cast as Goku, then I assume that they are actually doing scenes based off Dragon Ball Z rather than Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball Z shows Goku grown up and kicking ass. In Dragon Ball, Goku is only a child fighting in tournaments and battling the evil forces of Emperor Pilaf.
